THE DOOR was founded upon the scripture Revelation 3:8.

Doors of opportunity were opened to a group of families in January 1980 to begin one of the first charismatic churches in the Lake of the Ozarks region, specifically Laurie, Missouri.

We are a non-denominational church with vibrant praise and worship, great friendly people, and messages that are relevant for today.

Our messages which are based on the word of God, are timely and speak to issues we all deal with in life. We truly believe that "you can do all things through Christ."

We believe in the fullness of God and the entirety of His Word. Our goal and desire is to "equip the Saints for the work of the ministry.” 

We believe that when doors are opened unto us we should walk through them. It is our belief that we are called outside the four walls of the church to reach the lost, sick, and hurting world.
